As per the film's synopsis on ZEE5, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain's main twist comes when Ganga learns that his biological parents stay in a city. "He goes to the city and finds that his parents are very wealthy. After facing a murder accusation, the man is unable to adjust to the fast-paced and corrupt city life," the synopsis reads.
For the uninitiated, Rinke Khanna played the role of Tina Dutt in the movie. The star cast of Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain also included Himani Shivpuri, Shakti Kapoor, the late Reema Lagoo, Shivaji Satam, Supriya Karnik, Ankush Choudhary, Milind Gunaji, and others.
