200 Halla Ho star Salloni Battra on working with Sarthak Dasgupta: ‘He's a smart director with a heart of gold’

Sarthak Dasgupta’s much awaited film 200 Halla Ho premiered on ZEE5 today at noon, and social media is already showering with rave reviews. People have absolutely loved the story and have been impacted gravely by the characters. The way 200 Dalit women fight for justice after 15 long years of facing molestation and harassment has left the audience with goosebumps. While Sahil Khattar is being praised for getting under the skin of his character, Salloni Battra and Rinku Rajguru have been lauded for their performances.

Sharing her experience of working with Dasgupta, Salloni shares, “The team of 200 was like that of warriors. I had an amazing time working with them all. Sarthak had a clean vision and understanding of what was to be said through each one of us, so I feel he made his choices well. He's a smart director with a heart of gold and working with him on the set felt very relaxed and smooth. He would always make his actors feel comfortable no matter what. The camera team also was always in unison with him. I really enjoyed performing for this character.”

Also starring Amol Palekar, Barun Sobti and Indraneil Sengupta, 200 Halla Ho is a powerful tale which deserves to be watched by all.
