It's been 20 years since Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor worked together for the first time. Ken Ghosh's Fida marked the actors' first collaboration, and it was during this filming that they began their romantic relationship. The romantic thriller also features Fardeen Khan as the main antagonist, and the film did average business at the box office. In case you are planning to revisit Fida on OTT, the film is available to stream on Prime Video, Lionsgate Play (OTTplay Premium), and ShemarooMe (OTTplay Premium).
Fida, the romantic thriller, features Jai (Shahid), a young man whose heart belongs to a woman named Neha (Kareena), who is initially deceptive. Love blossoms between them over time. Afterwards, Jai learns that Neha is under threat from underworld thugs who want repayment of a large sum of money that her father borrowed from the underworld. To aid Neha in escaping this sticky situation, Jai resorts to stealing; nevertheless, he soon learns that Neha had been ensnaring him the whole time.

Following a massive theft that derails a promising romance, the paths of three characters played by Fardeen Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Shahid Kapoor intersect. An ambitious man named Jai meets and falls for a stunning young woman named Neha. Jai does engage in illegal activity on Neha's behalf despite being unaware of the evil scheme she and her partner have hatched. But Jai plots his revenge as he learns the truth.
Earlier, following the release of Fida, rumours circulated that Shahid felt insecure about Kareena's friendship with Fardeen. The actor categorically refuted these reports, asserting that his concerns about Kareena's friendships are legitimate. It would be extremely unprofessional and unethical of him to criticise his co-star. Since cinema is a collaborative art form, attacking a co-star would ruin his film. Shahid supposes he should just quit getting worked up and get over it. In Bollywood, being famous isn't without its perks.
On the other hand, Fardeen said on Koffee With Karan that it was a gluy subject; he wishes they could have an open conversation about it, but Bebo is a great friend. Kareena and Shahid are dating; therefore, he should keep quiet about the whole thing because of his friendship with Bebo.
The actor went on to say that an off-the-record discussion escalated into an interview, which was not the original plan. Well, Fardeen has had experience working with other performers, and his connection with Shahid was far from ideal. While his previous collaborations with actors like Abhishek Bachchan have been characterised by an easygoing, collaborative spirit, this one was a bit different.
Fardeen concluded that remaining silent if one has nothing positive to say about another is best.
