Ever since Shah Rukh Khan dropped the teaser of Dunki on his 58th birthday, it has been generating buzz, and for the right reasons. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is a story about illegal immigration that changes the life of Shah Rukh Khan as Hardy, Taapsee Pannu as Manu, and many others. Actor Vicky Kaushal also has a special cameo in the movie. While the buzz continues to gain momentum, the movie makers dropped fresh posters of the film today.

This afternoon, Shah Rukh Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, and the team of Dunki together launched two new posters of Dunki. With the posters, the lead actors of the film attached special messages for their fans and well-wishers.
Taking to microblogging site X, formerly known as Twitter, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Hum bilkul usi tarah dikh rahe hain jaise Raju sir ne apne Ullu ke patthon ko imagine kiya tha… Inke baare mein bahot kuch share karna abhi baaki hai… The #DunkiDrop1 is out now. #Dunki releases worldwide in cinemas this Christmas 2023.”
Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani’s message on X wrote, “Yeh kisi rishte se nahi, apne sapno aur promises se jude hain. Isliye yeh dost bhi hain, aur ek dusre ki family bhi… The #DunkiDrop1 is out now. #Dunki releases worldwide in cinemas this Christmas 2023.”
Taapsee Pannu, who plays Shah Rukh Khan’s love interest in Dunki, said, “Dost agar aise ho, toh life ki har journey thodi toh aasaan ho jaati hai. Here’s my family of friends! The #DunkiDrop1 is out now. #Dunki releases worldwide in cinemas this Christmas 2023.”

The movie makers have renamed the Dunki teaser as ‘Dunki Drop 1’. It has garnered 72 million views across all platforms within just 24 hours. “Get ready to embark on this emotional rollercoaster of the most amazing journey ever taken, as we present to you the Dunki Drop 1,” read the statement by Red Chillies Entertainment – the official production house of the movie.
