He has done an excellent job of capturing the hopes of a middle-class family and their resilient response to an unforeseen event. There are some similarities between this movie and Blessy's Kaazhcha, which starred Mammootty and Padmapriya, in terms of the storytelling technique and emotional elements.

For example, Ramesan having a mature conversation with his son about infatuation. In another scene, Ramesan speaks to other parents about the value of gentle parenting and spending quality time with their children to understand their thoughts and dreams.

Convincing and subtle act by other artists

In addition to Mohanlal, the film's other actors, including debutant Arjun Lal, were able to bring just the right amount of emotion to this heart-touching drama. According to the director, even Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Arjun Lal, and Meera Vasudev put their all into the roles they played and did so with great conviction.
