During the early 1970s, a serial killer in the San Francisco Bay Area was roaming around taunting the police with his letters and cryptic messages. The film follows the journey of investigators and reporters that takes us through the fictionalized account of the true case as they search for the murderer and this search eventually becomes an obsession.
