Yasmin

Yasmin is a 2004 Hindi - language film that is directed by Kenneth Glenaan and written by Simon Beaufoy. This is a drama film that stars Archie Panjabi, Renu Setna, Steve Jackson, Syed Ahmed, Amar Hussain and Shahid Ahmed. The film is set amongst a British Pakistani community. The film follows the life of a young muslim woman named Yasmin. She leads a happy life with her husband but everything changes when her husband is detained on suspected terror charges after the September 11th attacks. Following his arrest, Yasmin campaigns and does everything in her power to get her husband justice.
