Wake Up Sid

Wake Up Sid is a 2009 Indian Hindi - language coming of age drama film written and directed by Ayan Mukherji and produced by karan johar’s Dharma Productions, the film was produced by UTV Motion Pictures, and visual effects contributed by the Prime Focus Group. The film follows the life of a careless, rich brat Sid Mehra. He is thought to be good for nothing by everyone but nobody recognizes his talent for photography. His family doesn’t let him pursue his passion and, therefore, he is stuck with something he hates and fails to excel. This is the reason he is anxious throughout his final exams whereas everybody else does wonders. However, he is still happy to be free and parties. At the party, he meets Aisha who is new to the city. They go for a small walk and have a heart-to-heart talk. He also helps her get a small apartment and she lands a decent job in Mumbai Beats. Some weeks later, Sid finds out that he failed. This results in a fight with his family and in a fit of anger, he moves in with Aisha temporarily. But soon she gets frustrated because of his lazy and careless behaviour. He realizes this and starts to work as an intern at Mumbai beats. This makes him more responsible and changes him as a person which results in a better lifestyle for him.
