Vijay Superum Pournamiyum is a 2019 Indian Malayalam - language film that is directed and written by Jis Joy. This is a romantic comedy drama film that stars Asif Ali, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Balu Varghese, Siddique, Aju Varghese and Renji Panicker. This is a remake of the 2016 Telugu film named Pelli Choopulu. The director wanted the film to be a small, message-driven film with elements suitable for a family audience. The light-hearted film follows the life of Vijay, an engineer who aspires to become a restauranteur. He is introduced to an MBA graduate named Pournami. With time, the two grow close to each other and fall in love but they have to struggle with their ambitions.
