Viduthalai Part-1

Based on the short story Thunaivan written by Jeyamohan, Viduthalai Part-1 is a Tamil period crime thriller film written and directed by Vetrimaaran. The film features performances from Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre, and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The plot follows Kumaresan, a police constable who gets enlisted for "Operation Ghosthunt," a mission to capture Perumal "Vaathiyar," the leader of the separatist group "People's Army." The group is determined to fight against the authorities who commit atrocities against innocent women in the name of police interrogations.
