Veruthe Oru Bharya

Veruthe Oru Bharya is a 2008 Indian Malayalam language film directed by Aku Akbar. This is a comedy drama film which follows the story of Sugunan and his wife. Sugunan undermines the efforts his wife, Bindu makes for him and for the household. Sugunan not only takes his wife for granted but also has an orthodox mindset, believing that women belong in the kitchen and should be busy doing household chores. As years pass a void between Sugunan and Bindu is created. The film takes a serious turn when Bindu leaves her married home for her maternal home. However, an incident involving Sugunan and Bindu’s daughter brings them together for good.
