Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, Vertigo is a romantic psychological thriller drama film. After a friend’s wife turn suicidal, John or ‘Scottie’ is given the responsibility of preventing Galvin Elster’s wife, Madeleine, from harming herself. But John has a secret of his own— a fear of heights that he acquired after watching his close friend and colleague fall to his death. The film stars the famous James Stewart opposite Kim Novak, Barbara Bel Geddes, Tom Helmore, Raymond Bailey, and Ellen Corby.
