Veera Simha Reddy

Veera Simha Reddy is a much revered man in his home village village, with his son Jai Simha Reddy settling in the USA, leading a life detached from his home. But when he comes to know that his father is killed due to the village politics, Jai Simha returns to India and his village to take revenge on whoever was responsible for the murder of his father. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in both the roles of Veera Simha Reddy and his son Jai Simha Reddy, Veera Simha Reddy is a Telugu action drama film written and directed by Gopichand Malineni. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film also features performances from Honey Rose, Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Duniya Vijay, Lal, Naveen Chandra, Ajay Ghosh, Murali Sharma, John Kokken, and P. Ravi Shankar among others. The film was a commercial success at the box-office even becoming the largest opening grosser for a Nandamuri Balakrishna film. The film's background score and songs have been composed by S. Thaman.
