Uyare

Uyare is a 2019 Indian Malayalam language film directed by Manu Ashokan. This is a drama film which follows the story of Pallavi Raveendran, a young woman who has aspirations of becoming a pilot. She faces many obstacles in the path. Young Pallavi wants to be a pilot, but in the journey she falls many times. She loves Govind, an obsessive boyfriend. Things become nasty when Pallavi isn’t able to fit Govind in her schedule to her dreams of being a pilot. This hurts Govind’s ego and decides to take revenge. Govind throws acid on Pallavi’s face and ruins half of her face. Then the story revolves around Pallavi accepting her new face and completing her dream. A film with societal values and underlying themes.
