Major Sudhir decides to visit his friend Rama in Pune. Widowed and alone, Rama is excited to see him but is slightly hesitant to have him stay at her place overnight, fearing the reactions of her neighbours. However, she is forced to let him stay over when he suffers from a heart attack. She admits him in the hospital and then takes care of him post his discharge as well.
