Upadhyaksha

Upadhyaksha is a Kannada action-comedy flick revolving around the events of a small town Gejjepura led by the wealthiest and most powerful leader Shivarudre Gowda. When a young and brash Narayana decides to obstruct Gowda's political work in the town, he develops a grudge towards the man. Soon enough, Narayana becomes infauated with Gowda's daughter Anjali who reciprocates his feelings. The couple elope without the consent of Gowda, enraging him and ensuing a deadly plan of revenge. The film is written by Anil Kumar and K.L. Rajshekar and directed by Anil Kumar. P. Ravi Shankar, Malaika Vasupal, Sadhu Kokila, Veena Sundar and Chikkanna play the lead roles in Upadhyaksha.
