Unnatural and Accidental

Carmen Moore, Tantoo Cardinal, and Callum Keith Rennie star in the Canadian film Unnatural & Accidental, which was directed by Carl Bessai and written by Marie Clements. It was adapted from The Unnatural and Accidental Women, a play by Marie Clements. In the novel Unnatural & Accidental, Rebecca, a First Nations woman, goes to Vancouver to be with her ailing father while also looking for her mother Rita Jones, who has been gone for a long time. Her voyage takes her into the difficult existence that many murdered First Nations women had to live.
