Uncommon Allies is a crime documentary film that follows the life of Rosalin Temple after she lost her 26-year-old son to homicide. She establishes the Kansas City Mothers in Charge and begins to work directly with the family of victims of homicide and strives to bridge the gap between the investigators and the community. Directed and created by Jon Brick, the film has won the Best Documentary Jury award at the Kansas International Film Festival.
