The Wolverine

Serving as the sixth instalment in the X-Men film series, the second instalment in the trilogy of Wolverine films after X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and a spin-off/sequel to X-Men: The Last Stand, The Wolverine is an American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics superhero of the same name created by Chris Claremont. Following the events of X-Men: The Last Stand, the film sees Logan travel to Japan, where he engages an old acquaintance in a struggle that has lasting consequences. Stripped of his healing powers, Wolverine must battle deadly samurai while battling his guilt over Jean Grey's death. The film features performances from Hugh Jackman, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto, Rila Fukushima, Famke Janssen, and Will Yun Lee.
