A young couple, Margot and Tyler, embark on a journey to a remote island to eat at a renowned restaurant named Hawthorne, which is exclusively run by an enigmatic celebrity chef named Slowik, played by Ralph Fiennes. Slowik prepares a very opulent molecular gastronomy menu and treats the food as a work of conceptual art, but things take a turn when his affluent guests learn about some shocking revelations pertaining to his culinary philosophy. Golden Globe award winner Anya Taylor-Joy and British Academy Film Award nominee Nicholas Hoult play the lead as Margot and Tyler, respectively. Written by Seth Reiss and Will Tracy, the dark comedy horror film is produced by Adam McKay and Betsy Koch. Apart from Fiennes, Taylor-Joy and Hoult, the cast includes Hong Chau, Janet McTeer, Judith Light, John Leguizamo, Reed Birney, Rob Yang, Aimee Carrero, Paul Adelstein, Arturo Castro, Mark St. Cyr, Rebecca Koon and Peter Grosz, among others.
