The Hurt Locker

The Hurt Locker is a 2008 American English - language film directed by Kathryn Bigelow. It is a war thriller film starring Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty, Christian Camargo, Ralph Fiennes, David Morse, and Guy Pearce. The movie follows the journey of some elite soldiers who have the job of disarming bombs in the heat of combat. Soon, a new sergeant, James, takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, and everyone is surprised to look at him recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat, behaving as if he can't die. The men struggle to work under their wild new leader and in the meantime, the city explodes into chaos, and James' true character is revealed in front of everybody.
