The Father

A man struggles with the onset of dementia but refuses to take any assistance from his daughter. As he gets older, he tries to grapple with the changing reality. Eventually, he starts to distrust his loved ones, doubt his decisions and questions the surrounding real world. The Father is a British psychological drama film directed by Florian Zeller, based on Zeller's 2012 play of the same name. The film features performances from Anthony Hopkins, Olivia Colman, Mark Gatissz Imogen Poots, Rufus Sewell, and Olivia Williams.
