Philip Markoff has a seemingly perfect life— he is the ideal medical student and has a loving fiancée, Megan McAllister. But despite being one of Boston University’s most brilliant students, he has a violent side that only his victims know. Written by Donald Martin and Stephen Tolkin, Detective Bennett and Frye join forces to uncover his heinous crimes. The 2011 American crime drama television film, often stylized as the/craigslist.killer, is directed by Stephen Kay, and based on the enigmatic life of Philip Markoff, who was known by the epithet ‘The Craigslist Killer’ as he allegedly met his victims via the ads placed on the website Craigslist. The cast includes Jake McDorman, Agnes Bruckner, Kevin Kilner, Julia Campbell, Candice Patton, Leela Savasta, Joshua Close and William Baldwin, among others.
