The film depicts the tragedy that struck Denmark in March 1945. The RAF's air raids misfired when it was aimed at the Gestapo HQ but accidentally hit a local school in Copenhagen killing 120 people, including 86 children. The film captures the horrific mishap, viewed through the lens of children, adults, air raiders, freedom fighters, rescue parties, basically all the pivotal players in the tragedy. Ole Bornedal has written and directed the film. Jonas Allen and Peter Bose have produced the film.
