Tezaab

Tezaab is a 1988 Indian Hindi - language film directed and produced by N. Chandra. It is a romantic action film starring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Chunky Pandey and Mandakini. Munna, a dangerous and short - tempered criminal is asked to stay away from the city limits of Bombay. He soon comes to know from his sister that the love of his life, Mohini has been kidnapped by his rival gangster Lotya Pathan. Munna enters the big city much before time and plans to attack Lotya Pathan's den with Baban and his other friends in order to rescue Mohini. Mohini was kidnapped while on stage and the incident resulted in loss of many lives. Inspector Gagan Singh is assigned to investigate the case. Gagan Singh also finds that Munna has entered city limits much before time and is shocked to learn the truth that Munna is indeed Mahesh Deshmukh, a youngster who once was willing to die for his country. Gagan Singh traces Munna and asks him to surrender but is more eager to know what made Mahesh Deshmukh turn into a criminal.
