Sri Ramadasu

Directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, Sri Ramadasu is a 2006 Telugu language film starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, Suman, Veda Sastry, Sneha & Akkineni Nageswara. Lord Rama makes Sage Bhadra a hill. Centuries later, Dammaka, a tribal woman, worships the hill and wishes to construct a temple on it. In another world, a murder is planned against Gopanna but Dammaka saves him when he is lying unconscious. Gopanna becomes a devotee of Lord Ram and fundraises for the temple. With devotion and loyalty, Gopanna becomes Ramadasu.Ramadasu gets imprisoned by the king for some fake conspiracy but gets freed eventually. Ramadasu, Lord Ram devotee cuts his chest open to see him and Seetha and Lord Ram offers him Vaikuntha but he denies and stays on Earth.
