Son of God is a 2014 American epic biblical drama film directed by Christopher Spencer and written by Richard Bedser and Colin Swash. It is a re-edited version of the 10-hour History Channel television miniseries The Bible and a dramatized presentation of the life of Jesus. The film follows the life of Jesus from his birth in Bethlehem to his death and resurrection. The film is produced by Mark Burnett, who also produced The Bible miniseries. It stars Diogo Morgado as Jesus, along with a large ensemble cast, and features music from Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Tomlin.
