Singh vs Kaur is a 2013 Indian Punjabi - language directed by Navaniat Singh. It is a romantic comedy film starring Gippy Grewal, Japji Khaira, Surveen Chawla and Binnu Dhillon. The film was later remade in Odia, Bengali and Kannada. The film follows the story of Nihal Singh, who wants to get rid of a marriage proposal. In order to do so, he lies about his love interest, Jasneet Kaur from Vanvcouver. But, in reality, Jasneet Kaur is someone, Nihal and his friends found online. His family forces him to get the girl to their village, therefore, he goes to Canada to find Jasneet.
