Shutter Island

In 2010's "Shutter Island," U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, is sent to investigate the disappearance of a patient from a hospital for the criminally insane located on Shutter Island. Teddy and his partner, played by Mark Ruffalo, encounter a web of lies and deception as they delve deeper into the investigation. As a storm brews on the island, Teddy begins to experience hallucinations and visions that blur the lines between reality and delusion. The film is directed by Martin Scorsese and based on the novel by Dennis Lehane.
