Shava Ni Girdhari Lal

Set in the early 1940s Punjabi, the film follows the exploits of a simple man named Girdhari. He is a young bloke looking to find a suitor and get married. Unfortunately for him though, his desire to get married often shrouds his logic. Hence, he is found propositioning women at weddings and funerals alike. How he eventually finds love forms the core of this comedy-drama. The film has been directed by Gippy Grewal who also stars in the movie along with Neeru Bajwa and Himanshi Khurana. The film also marks Yami Gautam’s return to the Punjabi movie industry after a decade.
