Sethurama Iyer CBI

This movie falls as the third film for the series CBI investigative thrillers. Sethurama Iyer CBI was directed by K. Madhu and emerged in the year 2004 with Mammootty as Sethurama Iyer in the lead role. The film explores a murder case investigation, where the culprit has been convicted for seven murders. Sethurama strives to follow a murder case investigation and learns about another murderer regarding the seventh victim after Alex confesses to killing six people. Originally, the script involved a rough and tough CBI officer named Ali Imran, but Mammootty came up with an alternative. He suggested the makers go with a brahmin's character who uses his brain more than his brawn to reach a culprit.
