Sehar

Sehar is a 2005 Indian Hindi - language film directed by Kabeer Kaushik. It is a crime drama film starring Arshad Warsi and Mahima Chaudhry. The film follows the journey of Ajay Kumar who is brought up by his mother, Prabha single – handedly as his army officer father killed himself after being accused. Ajay is a hard working man and in order to follow the steps of his father to serve the country, he joins the police force as the Senior Superintendent of Police of Lucknow. He is an honest police officer, therefore, he is transferred a lot. He has been transferred 14 times in the last eight years. Meanwhile, he also falls in love with his childhood friend, Anamika Kant and his mother wants them to get married. Now, he is posted to Uttar Pradesh and wants to catch the notorious gangster, Gajraj. Ajay sets up a special task force to catch Gajraj but it is not easy to catch him as he has some strong political connections. Ajay also learns that he is standing in elections and if he wins then nobody can harm him. Hence, Ajay vows to catch him at the earliest.
