Sankat City

Sankat City is a 2009 Indian Hindi - language film directed and written by Pankaj Advani. It is a black comedy film starring Kay Kay Menon, Rimi Sen, Anupam Kher, Dilip Prabhavalkar and Chunky Pandey. The film follows the story of a thief, Guru who lives in the big and notorious city of Mumbai who along with his friend Ganpat Gajanan Jagirdar, s garage owner steal cars and re – sell them through their associate, Sharafat. One day, they steal a Mercedes and find a bag filled with Rs. 1 crore. The two get happy thinking about their future that can be made luxurious with this money. They try to re – sell the car to Suleman, who unfortunately recognizes it and informs it to the rightful owner, Faujdar who is a cold - blooded gangster. Faujdar enquires Guru who agrees to return the money. Meanwhile, Ganpat meets with an accident and loses his memory, therefore, he doesn’t remember the location of the money. Guru informs Faujdar about the same but he doesn’t care about Guru’s situation and gives him three days to return the money.
