Roti, Kapda Aur Makan is a 1974 drama film starring Manoj Kumar, Shashi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan. The film was blockbuster and Manoj Kumar won the Filmfare Best Director Award.The film revolves around the struggles of a poor family and highlights the three basic necessities that everybody needs, that is food, clothing and shelter. Bharat, the eldest son, has the responsibility of the entire family, but he struggles to earn money the right way and finally resorts to crime.
