On the sunny morning of December 7, 1941 Japan bombed the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor. America's formidable battleships burnt and capsized and took with them thousands of seamen some of whom were 16 year old boys. The surprise attack happened in a flash. Survivors who included civilians reveal how their first response was disbelief which turned to panic and ultimately grief. They saw the mighty ships go down and their friends and colleagues burn alive and drown. Though the US won the moral war and World War 2, they don't want the public to forget the fateful day.
