Qissa: The Tale of a Lonely Ghost is a 2013 Indian - German Punjabi - language that is co-written and directed by Anup Singh. It is a romantic comedy film that stars Irrfan Khan, Tisca Chopra and Tillotama Shome. The film follows the story of Umber Singh during the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947. He is a Sikh and he was forced to leave his homeland and everything else behind along with his family. Meanwhile, he wishes for a male child who will become his heir. But when his fourth female child is born, he decides to fights against his destiny.
