Princess Mononoke

Written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, Princess Mononoke is a Japanese animated historical fantasy film. The story follows the journey of Ashitaka, a young prince who finds himself in the middle of a war between the forest gods and Tatara, a mining colony while on his quest to find a cure to a hideous demon Tatarigami’s curse. In this odyssey he also meets San, who is Princess Mononoke. The anime film stars the voices of Yoji Matsuda, Yuriko Ishida, Kaoru Kobayashi, Yuko Tanaka, Mitsuko Mori, Masahiko Nishimura, and Tsunehiko Kamijo.
