Prahaar: The Final Attack

Prahaar: The final attack is a 1991 Indian Hindi - language action drama film, written and directed by Nana Patekar. It stars Madhuri Dixit, Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia. The movie starts with 2nd Lieutenant Peter D’souza who is an army officer deciding to join the battalion's special commando platoon. But people around him have different expectations from him. His neighbour, Kiran advises him to follow his heart and his heart led him to the commando training. At the training, Major Pratap Chauhan comes to train the men. He is often found very strict. However, he is soft at heart but appears to be strict in order to train the men well and also hide his despicable past. Peter didn’t like his methods and wanted to leave but Chauhan motivated him to do better. Peter continued and came first. However, in a rescue operation, Peter lost his legs and returned home. Chauhan was invited to Peter’s wedding but upon reaching, he learned that Peter was killed by the local goons but he fought till his last breath. Chauhan learnt about the local gang torturing people around and decided to get them arrested and seek justice.
