Ponniyin Selvan: Part Two is a Tamil period fantasy drama movie that is a sequel to the 2021 movie Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1. The movie revolves around Arulmozhi Varman as he goes on his quest to become crowned as Rajaraja I, the Chola ruler who is considered to be one of the greatest kings who ruled over South India. The movie stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha Krishnan and Shobita Dulipala in the lead roles. The movie, and its prequel, is an adaptation of the novel written by Kalki Krishnamurthy and it is directed by Mani Ratnam.
