Pondicherry

Directed by Sachin Kundalkar, who is known for films such as Cobalt Blue (2021), this drama film revolves around Nikita and her 8-year-old son, Ishan. She runs a homestay in the beautiful city of Pondicherry. A twist in the tale occurs when an unknown mysterious guest with an agenda arrives and turns their lives upside down.  

This film is touted to be the first Marathi film to be shot on a smartphone. It was also made with a whole crew of just 15 people.  

The film stars Amruta Khanvilkar, Sai Tamhankar, Vaibhav Tatwadi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Neena Kulkarni, and Tanmay Kulkarni in lead roles.
