Maya, an aspiring filmmaker, expresses her desire to direct a biopic of Vaishishta, a basketball player who is also a winner of the Dronacharya award. She threatens Vaishishta by letting him know that she’d die by suicide if he doesn’t approve of the project, and hence the reluctant Vaishishta narrates the story of how he got the approval of his lover’s father, who is completely against the idea of love marriages. Directed by Gowri Ronanki, the Telugu musical romantic comedy film is written by Shiva Shakti Datta and Sreedhar. Roshan Meka plays the role of Vashishta, and the rest of the cast includes Sree Leela, K. Raghavendra Rao, Shivani Rajashekar, Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Vithika Sheru, Posani Krishna Murali, and Vennela Kishore, among others.
