The Marathi historical drama is based on the life of Marathi warrior, Baji Prabhu Deshpande. The plot depicts the historical rear guard’s last stand that took place on 13 July 1660 at a mountain pass in the vicinity of fort Vishalgad near the city of Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. The cast comprises Chinmay Mandelkar as Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mrinal Kulkarni, Ajay Purkar, Ruchi Savarn, Prajakta Mali, Surabhi Bhave and Kshitee Jog and others. The film comes under the banner of Almonds Creation and is written and directed by Digpal Lanjekar.
