Pathaan is a Hindi action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and written by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala. Siddharth Anand is known for his stylish and visually appealing films with a strong focus on action sequences.
Anand's breakthrough film came with the action thriller Bang Bang! a remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day. The film was a huge commercial success and made Anand one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood. He followed this up with another successful action thriller War which became the highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.
His latest movie stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role with Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana.Pathaan is a RAW agent who was exiled after a failed mission. However when he learns of a major attack against India,He teams up with ISI agent Rubina Mohsin to take down Jim, a former RAW agent who is now leading the terrorist ororganisation. Pathaan and Rubina's mission takes them across the globe, from Dubai to Spain as they track down Jim and his plans.In the end Pathaan and Rubina succeed in stopping Jim and saving India from the attack. But their victory comes at a cost. Pathaan must make a difficult choice that will change his life forever.
