Pad Man

Pad Man is a Hindi comedy-drama film written and directed by R. Balki. When Lakshmikant realises the hardships women face when it comes to their menstrual cycle, especially in rural areas, he sets out on a mission to manufacture sanitary pads that are inexpensive and easily available to all women. Though discouraged by everyone, including his own wife Gayatri, he does not deter from his aim. He does not give up hope and stays true to his decision. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor, Jyoti Subhash, Mrinmayee Godbole, Parul Chouhan, Soumya Vyas, Yogesh Shreekant Pandey, A. R. Rama, Himika Bose, Mrudul Satam, Riva Bubber, Rakesh Chaturvedi, Wahib Kapadia, Rajesh Tiwari, Urmila Mahanta, Suneel Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan in prominent roles.
