Najma

Najma is an Urdu language Indian Film. The film is written by Aghajani Kashmeri, produced and directed by Mehboob Khan under the banner of Mehboob Production. The film was released on July 30, 1943. The music of the film is given by Rafiq Ghaznavi and Anjum Pilibhiti and the cast of the film includes Ashok Kumar, Veena, Yakub, Shantari, Murad, Sitara, Kumar, Majid, and Rajkumari Shukla. The film began with a sweet love story of Yusuf and Najma. Yusuf is studying medicine and is the son of a prominent doctor in the community. When he came back he was told that his marriage was fixed to an illiterate village girl named Raziya. The situation got worse when Najma’s father promised her to someone else and Raziya got jealous of Yusuf’s first love.
