My Son

"My Son" is a mystery thriller, which follows the story of Edmond Murray, played by James McAvoy, as he frantically searches for his missing son. Directed by Christian Carion, the movie takes place in the Scottish Highlands, where Edmond's ex-wife informs him that their seven-year-old son has vanished during a camping trip. Edmond is determined to find his son and begins the search, suspecting his ex-wife's new partner. Along the way, he discovers hidden truths that lead him to uncover a web of deceit and danger. Co-written by Carion and Laure Irrmann, the screenplay keeps the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end. Claire Foy co-stars as Edmond's troubled ex-wife.
