In the middle of the night, on the 28th of August 1955, Mose Wright tries to protect his 14-year-old nephew, Emmett Till, from two racist killers out for blood in Mississippi. But unfortunately, despite his uncle’s best efforts, the young teenager falls prey to this ruthless act for which he had to pay for with his life. Based on a true story, this film showcases one of the most heart-wrenching crimes against humanity. An Oscar-nominated film directed by Kevin Wilson Jr., it portrays the horrors of racial discrimination at its worst. The film stars L.B. Williams, Joshua Wright, Jasmine Guy, Dane Rhodes, Ethan Leaverton and Charlie Talbert, among others.
