Mr. India

Mr. India, a 1987 movie, is directed by Shekhar Kapur, streaming on. It is a romantic-comedy and dramatic film, starring Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Amrish Puri in the leads. Arun is under numerous debts, living with ten orphaned kids in a big old house. Arun gets a letter from his family friend, Dr. Sinha, informing him about a gadget made as an experiment by Arun’s father, who is a scientist. Since Arun’s father died and the patenting is still left for the gadget, the responsibility falls on Arun. Arun learns about the watch that can make a person invisible only if the person is not exposed to the red light but discusses with Calendar(his housekeeper) to keep it a secret. Mogambo, on the other hand, is an insane retired Army General, who wants to rule over India. Meanwhile, Seema lives with Arun and the children as a tenant. Arun falls in love with her, while Seema falls in love with Mr. India, which Arun likes to call himself when he makes himself invisible to help someone or Seema. Mogambo captures all the children, Seema, Calendar, and Arun, and demands to know about Mr. India.
