As Mother's Day approaches, several people in Atlanta navigate their relationships with family and loved ones. Sandy, a divorced mother, faces challenges with her ex-husband Henry’s new marriage to the younger Tina, while Bradley, a widowed father, is raising his daughters alone after losing his wife. Kristin, who was adopted, considers reaching out to her birth mother, Miranda, a popular author, with support from her friend Jesse. Meanwhile, Jesse deals with tension when her traditional parents visit and learn about her marriage to Russell and her sister Gabi's same-sex marriage to Max. Directed by Garry Marshall, Mother's Day features an ensemble cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, and Jason Sudeikis.
