John Durairaj aka JD (Vijay) is an alcoholic professor who has unknowingly enrolled to teach at a juvenile facility. He loves the students and they love him back. Everything is going well for them, till one day JD crosses paths with Bhavani (Vijay Sethupathi), who is a dreaded gangster. The latter has grown up to be ruthless after being treated poorly all his life, especially in the juvenile facility. Thus, he seeks revenge. However, JD cannot let him continue with his ways. Who will win?
